PLEASE NOTE: The Emergency Communications Center (ECC) has migrated to a new CAD Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system in June 2016, and are developing an updated performance management tool that will best integrate with their new system. ECC’s updated performance management site is anticipated to be in operation July 2017. 

Emergency Communications Center (ECC)

The mission of the Emergency Communications Center is to provide quality service to our customers in an expedient and professional manner while respecting the diversity of our community and recognizing that our employees are our most valuable resource.

The Charlottesville-UVA-Albemarle County Emergency Communications Center uses several key performance indicators to track the workload and the overall performance of its employees. Each indicator is assigned a red, yellow, green or grey icon, which shows the progress of each performance measure. Red indicators help to identify areas that need improvement while green indicators show which performance measures are on target. Yellow indicators caution that the target is not being met but is close. Grey indicators are used when no target has been set.
